Zusammenfassung: | To suppress mist from being generated.SOLUTION: A control method of a liquid discharge head, which has a discharging part which includes a nozzle for discharging liquid droplets, a pressure chamber communicated with the nozzle and a driving element that gives pressure fluctuation to liquid in the pressure chamber in response to a driving signal, controls supply of the driving signal to the driving element, where the driving signal includes a first driving waveform and a second driving waveform subsequent to the first driving waveform. The driving element makes the nozzle discharge first liquid droplets, in accordance with the first driving waveform, by being supplied with the driving signal, and makes the nozzle discharge second liquid droplets in accordance with the second driving waveform so that the second liquid droplets unite with the first liquid droplets before the second liquid droplets are separated into main droplets and satellite droplets following the main droplets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
