To provide an image capturing device which allows for easily switching between the used state and non-used state of an optical filter without increasing the size and reduces adherence of dust onto the optical filter.SOLUTION: An image capturing device (100) is provided, comprising an image sensor (121), an optical filter (160), a holding member (200) for holding the optical filter, a drive unit (201) for moving the holding member, a grip (101) to be gripped by a user, and a light shielding member (150) configured to control light shielding or opening of an imaging range (190).
