To provide a cryogenic centrifugal separator which can stably apply centrifugal separation to cryogenic liquid, and a centrifugal separation method.SOLUTION: A cryogenic centrifugal separator comprises: a casing with a space formed inside; a supply unit for supplying a cryogenic liquid into the casing; a drive unit which is arranged so as to be immersed in the supplied cryogenic liquid in the casing and rotates around an axis; a rotation unit which is driven to rotate by the drive unit and has a centrifugal separator for applying centrifugal separation to the cryogenic liquid; a bearing unit for supporting the rotation unit rotatably around the axis in the casing; and a discharge unit for discharging the cryogenic liquid to which centrifugal separation has been applied by the centrifugal separator to the outside of the casing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】極低温液体に安定的に遠心分離を施すことが可能な極低温遠心分離装置、及び遠心分離方法を提供する。【解決手段】極低温遠心分離装置は、内部に空間が形成されたケーシングと、ケーシング内に極低温液体を供給する供給部と、ケーシング内に供給された極低温液体内に浸漬されるように設けられ、軸線回りに回転する駆動部、及び駆動部によって回転駆動されて極低温液体に遠心分離を施す遠心分離機を有する回転部と、回転部をケーシング内で軸線回りに回転可能に支持する軸受部と、遠心分離機によって遠心分離が施された極低温液体をケーシング外に排出する排出部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
