To provide a stator in which the insulating property of a coil is ensured.SOLUTION: A stator includes an annular stator core, a plurality of coils that are arranged at a prescribed interval in the circumferential direction of the stator core and that extend from the stator core, and an annular resin member with which ends of the coils are covered. The resin member includes a plurality of projections with which the ends are covered respectively, and recesses that are located between the adjacent ends in the circumferential direction, and are recessed from the projections.
