Zusammenfassung:To obtain a lighting device and a lighting fixture capable of setting an appropriate switching frequency.SOLUTION: A lighting device according to the present disclosure includes: a lighting circuit which turns on a light source by turning a switching element on and off; and a control circuit which controls the lighting circuit. When a first frequency of the switching element calculated by a first arithmetic expression is outside a predetermined range, the control circuit allows the switching element to operate at the first frequency, and when the first frequency is within the range and a second frequency of the switching element calculated by a second arithmetic expression is outside the range, the control circuit allows the switching element to operate at the second frequency, a calculation result of the second arithmetic expression being smaller than that of the first arithmetic expression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】適切なスイッチング周波数を設定できる点灯装置および照明器具を得ることを目的とする。【解決手段】本開示に係る点灯装置は、スイッチング素子のオンオフにより光源を点灯させる点灯回路と、前記点灯回路を制御する制御回路と、を備え、前記制御回路は、第1演算式で算出された前記スイッチング素子の第1周波数が予め定められた範囲外の場合、前記第1周波数で前記スイッチング素子を動作させ、前記第1周波数が前記範囲内であり、第2演算式で算出された前記スイッチング素子の第2周波数が前記範囲外の場合、前記第2周波数で前記スイッチング素子を動作させ、前記第2演算式は、前記第1演算式よりも算出結果が小さい。【選択図】図3
