To provide an oxidation inhibitor for food and drink and an oxidation inhibiting method for food and drink for inhibiting oxidation of liquid food and drink in a container.SOLUTION: An oxidation inhibitor for food and drink includes: a balloon-like volume changing member 2 used by being inserted into a container 7 storing liquid food and drink 20; an air supply part 3 for supplying air to the volume changing member 2; and a discharge part 14 for discharging the food and drink 20 in the container 7.
