Zusammenfassung: | To provide a DC current shut-off device with which it is possible to suitably generate current zero points in a commutation circuit.SOLUTION: The DC current shut-off device of an embodiment comprises a mechanical contact type DC circuit breaker, a commutation circuit, a lightning arrester, and a control device. The DC circuit breaker shuts off a fault current at a current zero point that flows when an accident occurs to a DC transmission line. The commutation circuit includes a reactor for commutation, a switch for commutation, and a capacitor for commutation, and flows a reverse current corresponding to the fault current to the DC circuit breaker so as to generate the current zero point. The lightning arrester consumes a transient voltage after the fault current is shut off at the current zero point. The capacitor for commutation includes a plurality of capacitive elements, and a plurality of variable capacitor switches that switch between the connection of corresponding capacitive elements. The control device controls the variable capacitor switches in accordance with the size of the fault current, and changes the connection mode of the capacitive elements to a series or a parallel connection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】転流回路において好適に電流ゼロ点を生成することができる直流電流遮断装置を提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態の直流電流遮断装置は、機械接点式の直流遮断器と、転流回路と、避雷器と、制御装置と、を持つ。直流遮断器は、直流送電線に事故が発生した際に流れる事故電流を、電流ゼロ点において遮断する。転流回路は、転流用リアクトルと、転流用スイッチと、転流用コンデンサとを持ち、事故電流に応じた逆電流を直流遮断器に流すことによって電流ゼロ点を生成する。避雷器は、電流ゼロ点において事故電流が遮断された後の過渡的な電圧を消費する。転流用コンデンサは、複数のコンデンサ素子と、対応するコンデンサ素子同士の接続を切り替える複数の可変用コンデンサスイッチと、を持つ。制御装置は、事故電流の大きさに応じて、可変用コンデンサスイッチを制御し、コンデンサ素子同士の接続を直列接続あるいは並列接続に変更する。【選択図】図2 |
