The ONU 100 includes: a storage unit 110 that stores data: a communication unit 120 that receives a normal gate frame including a first transmission start clock time and a first transmission time from the OLT 300; and a control unit 130 that changes the first transmission time to a second transmission time shorter than the first transmission time. When receiving the normal gate frame, the communication unit 120 transmits a data frame based on the data to the OLT 300 during the second transmission time from the first transmission start clock time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
