【課題】連続印刷中、中間転写体から感光体へ転写残トナーを回収する際に隣接した感光体での画像形成が終了するまで回収開始のタイミングを遅らせている。このため、印刷の生産性が悪くなる。【解決手段】中間転写体上の転写残トナーを回収する感光体と隣接する感光体で形成する画像の画像濃度を認識し、濃度が低いと判断した場合には、転写残トナーの回収開始のタイミングを早めることにより、生産性ダウンを軽減することができる。【選択図】 図６ |
