PROPAGATING DISCOVERY ASSISTANCE REQUEST AND RESPONSE

To provide a wireless communication apparatus, system, method utilizing directional data transmission over a mmW band and propagating discovery (DA) assistance request and responses to neighboring STAs in order to improve network efficiency.SOLUTION: In a method, when an STA collaborates on discovery assistance, an STA 1 sends a DA request to an STA 2. After STA 2 determines a discovery assistance type, the request is propagated to an STA 3 and an STA 4. The STA 3 responds to the request by sending a DA response to the STA 2, and the STA 4 propagates the request to STA 5. The STA 5 responds the request by sending the DA response to the STA 4. The STA 4 processes the received response with its own response to the request received from the STA 2, and sends, to the STA 2, one DA response that contains DA information offered from the STA 4 and the STA 5.
