To provide communication devices that mutually detect the presence or absence of operation between the communication devices without increasing the amount of communication in a formed communication network.SOLUTION: A communication device forms a communication network with other communication devices, and searches for a target communication device which is another communication device not included in the communication network that is formed including the communication device and which can establish a direct communication connection with the communication device.
