Zusammenfassung:To provide a multi-car system elevator minimizing the actuation of emergency stop while preventing collision between cars or collision between elevation driving devices coupled to cars and moving in a hoistway.SOLUTION: An elevator includes a track, a plurality of elevation driving devices respectively raising/lowering along the track, cars coupled to each of the plurality of elevation driving devices, and collision prevention means. The collision prevention means includes a brake switch of the elevation driving device, an emergency stop switch of the elevation driving device, and a switch operation part for operating each switch in accordance with a distance between elevation driving devices or a distance between cars approaching each other. The switch operation part turns the brake on by operating the brake switch when the distance between the elevation driving devices or the distance between the cars becomes a brake distance and operates the emergency stop switch when the distance between the elevation driving devices or the distance between the cars becomes an emergency stop distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】マルチカー方式のエレベータにおいて、かご同士、又は、かごと結合して昇降路を移動する昇降駆動装置同士の衝突を防止しつつ、非常停止の発動を最小限に抑えたエレベータを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明は、軌道と、軌道に沿ってそれぞれ昇降する複数の昇降駆動装置と、各昇降駆動装置に結合するかごと、衝突防止手段と、を備え、衝突防止手段は、昇降駆動装置のブレーキ用スイッチと、昇降駆動装置の非常停止スイッチと、互いに接近する昇降駆動装置同士の距離やかご同士の距離に応じて各スイッチを操作するスイッチ操作部と、を備え、スイッチ操作部は、昇降駆動装置同士の距離やかご同士の距離がブレーキ距離になったときにブレーキ用スイッチを操作してブレーキをオンにし、昇降駆動装置同士の距離やかご同士の距離が非常停止距離になったときに非常停止スイッチを操作する。【選択図】図2
