To provide a leakage gas detection device which has a simple structure and can properly detect leakage gas at a stage of minute leakage at an early stage.SOLUTION: A leakage gas detection device 1 according to one embodiment comprises a cover member 10 and a measurement cap 20. The cover member 10 includes a cylindrical cover body 11 which extends in a direction in which a first piping part and second piping parts are continuous so as to surround the first piping part as a first pipe material 101 and the second piping parts (102-105) fluidly connected to the first pipe material 101. The cover member 10 is attached to the first piping part and the second piping parts. A first opening 14 is formed in the cover body 11.
