Zusammenfassung:To provide a knitting needle capable of improving durability, being easily manufactured, and increasing holding property during use and a manufacturing method of the knitting needle.SOLUTION: A knitting needle 1 of the present invention comprises: a first side plate part 2 and a second side plate part 3, which are connected each other at tips thereof and disposed to face each other; a yarn guiding body plate part 4 that is vertically connected to the first side plate part 2 and the second side plate part 3 and allows a yarn to be wound therearound; yarn storage spaces 7, 7 consisting of the yarn guiding body plate part 4 and the first side plate part 2 and the second side plate part 3 on front and rear sides of the yarn guiding body plate part 4.
