Zusammenfassung:To provide water treatment equipment and a water treatment method capable of efficiently removing organic matter from wastewater and obtaining good water quality through an anaerobic treatment method.SOLUTION: A water treatment equipment 100 has a water treatment structure 10 with an anode 12 that contacts treated water 30 inhabited by anaerobic microorganisms 3 with facultative and absolute anaerobes and to which the anaerobic microorganisms attach, and a cathode 11 that is electrically connected to the anode and that contacts gas phase 40 containing oxygen and treated water. The water treatment equipment is further provided with an aeration device 50 that intermittently aerates the treated water with oxygen-containing gas. The aeration device alternately repeats the state of performing aeration and the state of stopping aeration, and in the state of performing aeration, the gas is brought into contact with anaerobic microorganisms. The water treatment method is a method using the water treatment structure, and alternately repeats an aeration state in which the gas is brought into contact with anaerobic microorganisms by aerating the treated water with oxygen-containing gas, and an aeration stop state in which the aeration of the gas is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】嫌気性処理法により廃水中の有機物を効率的に除去し、良好な水質を得ることが可能な水処理装置及び水処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】水処理装置100は、通性嫌気性菌及び絶対嫌気性菌を有する嫌気性微生物3が生息する被処理水30に接触し、かつ、当該嫌気性微生物が付着する負極12と、当該負極と電気的に接続し、かつ、酸素を含む気相40及び被処理水に接触する正極11とを備える水処理構造体10を備える。水処理装置は、さらに、被処理水に対して、酸素を含む気体を間欠的に曝気する曝気装置50を備える。曝気装置は曝気の実施状態と停止状態を交互に繰り返し、曝気の実施状態では気体を嫌気性微生物に接触させる。水処理方法は当該水処理構造体を用いた方法であって、被処理水に対して酸素を含む気体を曝気することにより、気体を嫌気性微生物に接触させる曝気実施状態と、気体の曝気を停止する曝気停止状態とを交互に繰り返す。【選択図】図2
