To provide a gate device and a gate system capable of setting an accurate determination angle range according to the ambient environment.SOLUTION: A gate device 10 according to the present disclosure includes: an arrival angle measuring unit that measures an arrival angle relative to a reference direction of a radio wave for passage transmitted by a radio communication device for passage; a control unit that controls a flapper gate 3 to restrict or permit a user to pass through a traffic zone 7 based on determination information included in the traffic radio wave when the measured arrival angle is determined to be within a determination angle range; and a determination angle setting unit that sets the determination angle range. When a setting operation is performed for the setting radio communication unit 5, the setting radio communication unit 5 transmits a setting radio wave. The arrival angle measuring unit measures a plurality of arrival angles.
