VEHICULAR SILENCER, AND, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

To provide a vehicular silencer enabling improvement a function thereof which is exerted.SOLUTION: A vehicular silencer 1 includes: a sound insulation material layer 10 which has a first surface 11 and a second surface 12 at the opposite side of the first surface 11, and is formed of elastic material 70; and an acoustic absorption material layer 20 formed of material 80 having a void V1 and joined to the second surface 12. The sound insulation material layer 10 comprises: a function portion 30 which includes a protrusion portion 40 protruding toward the opposite side of the acoustic absorption material layer 20, on the first surface 11 and a shape changing portion 50 existing at a position corresponding to the protruding portion 40, on the second surface 12; and a general portion 60 positioned around the function portion 30. The shape changing portion 50 is formed in at least either shape of a convex shape and a concave shape.
