To suppress unintended displacement of a carriage from a guide shaft due to force applied on the carriage through an ink tube.SOLUTION: A recording device 1 is equipped with a head 8, a body portion 10, a carriage 7 that is provided with the head 8 and can reciprocate along a guide shaft 13, and an ink tube 12 that supplies ink from an ink storage portion 11 disposed on the body portion 10 to the head 8. The carriage 7 has a guided portion 17 that is supported by the guide shaft 13, a tube holding portion 27 that is attached to the guided portion 17 and holds the ink tube 12, and a head disposing portion 37 that is attached to the guided portion 17 and on which the head 8 is disposed.
