METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IN RESPONSE TO RECEIVED FRAME

To provide a method and a device for transmitting an acknowledgement in response to a data packet.SOLUTION: The receiver receives multiple data packets from multiple stations, and transmits an acknowledgement for that data packet to a source station by single transmission. The acknowledgement is transmitted using MU-MIMO. Alternatively, the acknowledgement is compacted and transmitted by single transmission. A short ACK frame is sent in response to the received frame. The short ACK frame includes an ACK sequence corresponding to an ID included in the received frame. The short ACK frame includes STF and ACK sequence. The short ACK frame is transmitted together with a short ACK indication.
