To provide a packing material that can be easily projected in a desired image light size.SOLUTION: A packing material 200 includes a short focus projection unit 110, has an exterior housing having a first surface 101 facing a projection surface 300, and is packed in a packing carton when a projector 100 enlarging and projecting image light 400 based on image information on the projection surface 300 is packed in the packing carton. The packing material 200 accommodates accessories of the projector 100, and has a first wall 201 and a second wall 202 facing the first wall 201.
