Zusammenfassung:To provide a vehicle body rear part structure which enables reduction of deformation of a back door opening to improve torsional rigidity of a vehicle body while inhibiting increase of the weight of a vehicle and manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: Left and right back side pillars 13 at a back door opening 1 having an annular structure have an outer panel part 13A and an inner panel part 13B extending in a vehicle vertical direction. The inner panel part 13B has: a first inner panel member extending from an end portion of the outer panel part 13A to the vehicle inner side; and a second inner panel member joined to the first inner panel member. Each back side pillar 13 has an extension part 50 which extends from a joint portion J2 between the first and second inner panel members to the vehicle outer side and is joined to a vehicle inner surface of the outer panel part 13A. The outer panel part 13A and the inner panel part 13B including the extension part 50 form a closed cross section structure C1 extending in the vehicle vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】車両重量および製造コストの増加を抑えつつ、バックドア開口部の変形を低減して車体のねじり剛性を向上させることができる車体後部構造を提供する。【解決手段】環状構造のバックドア開口部1における左右のバックサイドピラー13は、車両上下方向に延びるアウタパネル部13Aとインナパネル部13Bを有する。インナパネル部13Bは、アウタパネル部13Aの端部分から車両内側に向けて延びる第1インナパネル部材と、該第1インナパネル部材に接合される第2インナパネル部材とを有する。バックサイドピラー13は、第1および第2インナパネル部材の接合箇所J2から車両外側に向けて延出してアウタパネル部13Aの車両内側面に接合される延出部50を有し、アウタパネル部13Aと延出部50を含むインナパネル部13Bとによって車両上下方向に延びる閉断面構造C1が形成されている。【選択図】図5
