To provide an electrostatic detection device and an electrode, capable of achieving improvement in both a radio wave intensity of an antenna and a touch detection sensitivity of an electrode end part.SOLUTION: An electrostatic detection device 24 determines a touch operation on an operation body 15 based on a change in an electrostatic capacity detected by a first electrode 27. The first electrode 27 includes a first shape part 48 and a second shape part 49. The first shape part 48 has an opening 50 that acts as a passage for a radio wave of an antenna 36.
