Zusammenfassung: | To provide a fuel synthesis apparatus which can synthesize fuel by effectively utilizing CH4 produced as a by-product.SOLUTION: A fuel synthesis apparatus 1 includes: supply means 2 for supplying a CO2 gas and a H2 gas; a fuel synthesis catalyst 3 for synthesizing the fuel through a chemical reaction of the CO2 gas and the H2 gas; gas-liquid separation means 4 which converts the fuel into liquid, and separates a gas containing the unreacted CO2 gas and H2 gas, and CH4 gas as a by-product, from the liquid; a return passage 20 for returning the separated gas between the supply means 2 and the fuel synthesis catalyst 3; a by-pass passage which by-passes the return passage 20 and joins a downstream of the return passage 20, and has CH4 separation means 51 for separating CH4 and a CH4 oxidation catalyst 52 for oxidizing CH4; and a switching valve V for selectively switching communication between the return passage 20 or the by-pass passage 50, and controls a communication destination of the switching valve V to the return passage 20 or the by-pass passage 50 on the basis of concentration of the CH4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】副生物として生成されるCH4を有効利用して燃料を合成できる燃料合成装置を提供する。【解決手段】燃料合成装置1は、CO2ガスおよびH2ガスを供給する供給手段2と、CO2ガスおよびH2ガスを化学反応させて燃料を合成する燃料合成触媒3と、前記燃料を液体にするとともに、未反応のCO2ガスおよびH2ガス、ならびに副生物であるCH4のガスを含んで成る気体と分離する気液分離手段4と、分離された気体を供給手段2と燃料合成触媒3との間に還流させる還流通路20と、還流通路20からバイパスして還流通路20の下流に合流するとともに、CH4を分離するCH4分離手段51およびCH4を酸化させるCH4酸化触媒52を備えるバイパス通路と、還流通路20またはバイパス通路50との連通を選択的に切り替える切り替え弁Vと、を備え、CH4の濃度に基づいて切り替え弁Vの連通先を還流通路20またはバイパス通路50に制御する。【選択図】図1 |
