To replace a spare part of a residual chlorine meter in a more appropriate period.SOLUTION: A residual chlorine meter measuring the concentration of residual chlorine in sample water comprises: an indicator electrode and a counter electrode that are immersed in the sample water; and a control unit that, when a voltage is applied between the indicator electrode and the counter electrode, measures the concentration of residual chlorine in the sample water based on a diffusion current that is a current flowing between the indicator electrode and the counter electrode.
