Zusammenfassung:To replace a spare part of a residual chlorine meter in a more appropriate period.SOLUTION: A residual chlorine meter measuring the concentration of residual chlorine in sample water comprises: an indicator electrode and a counter electrode that are immersed in the sample water; and a control unit that, when a voltage is applied between the indicator electrode and the counter electrode, measures the concentration of residual chlorine in the sample water based on a diffusion current that is a current flowing between the indicator electrode and the counter electrode. The control unit detects the degree of deterioration of a spare part of the residual chlorine meter based on at least one of the diffusion current and a motor current that is a current flowing in a motor that rotates the indicator electrode in the sample water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】残留塩素計の補用品をより適切な時期に交換することを可能にする。【解決手段】試料水の中の残留塩素の濃度を測定する残留塩素計は、前記試料水の中に浸漬される指示極及び対極と、前記指示極及び前記対極の間に電圧を印加した場合に、前記指示極及び前記対極の間に流れる電流である拡散電流に基づき、前記試料水の中の残留塩素の濃度を測定する制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、前記指示極を前記試料水の中で回転させるモータを流れる電流であるモータ電流と、前記拡散電流との少なくともいずれかに基づき、前記残留塩素計の補用品の劣化の程度を検出する。【選択図】図3
