To provide an article conveyance device and an article conveyance method that effectively process many articles.SOLUTION: The article conveyance device includes: a frame; a first transfer loading section connected to the frame to support a Class 1 article underneath; a second transfer loading section connected to the frame and located on the first transfer loading section to support the Class 1 article underneath; and a third transfer loading section connected to the frame and located on the second transfer loading section to support a Class 2 article underneath that is different from the Class 1 article.
