Zusammenfassung:To provide ink compositions for surface printing that can form a print layer excellent in gloss.SOLUTION: An ink composition for surface printing contains a polyamide resin (A), nitrocellulose (B), a cellosolve solvent (D), and an organic solvent (E) other than the cellosolve solvent (D). The content of the polyamide resin (A) is 3-40 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition for surface printing. The content of the nitrocellulose (B) is 0.5-28 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition for surface printing. The content of the cellosolve solvent (D) is 0.1-20 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition for surface printing.
