PORTABLE TERMINAL, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND PAYMENT PROGRAM

To prompt a user to start a shop program before payment through a payment program on a portable terminal.SOLUTION: In a portable terminal 101 of a transaction system, a detection unit 102 detects a surrounding situation. When a payment is performed through a payment program, an acquisition unit 103 acquires a shop ID of a payee shop. A recording unit 104 records the shop ID and the surrounding situation, in association with each other, on a database 151. When the surrounding situation is detected, a retrieval unit 105 retrieves another surrounding situation which is the same as or similar to the detected surrounding situation, and another shop ID recorded in association with the other surrounding situation, from the database 151. A specifying unit 106 specifies, from the database 151, a shop program associated with the retrieved other shop ID.
