This method includes: performing the analysis of the sample and a compound having a known concentration and detecting the first and second substances and the compound; calculating, on the basis of data obtained by detection and a relative response coefficient regarding the first substance and the compound, the strength or concentration of the first substance that is obtained from the data; and generating information pertaining to the quantity or concentration of the second substance, except a second substance generated from the first substance at the time of analysis, on the basis of the strength or concentration of the first substance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
