VEHICULAR ELECTRIC DRIVE DEVICE

To provide a vehicular electric drive device equipped with respective driving units which rotationally drive left and right wheels, in which an oil pump is arranged compactly.SOLUTION: An oil pumps 80 is connected through unidirectional clutches 82L and 82R respectively to input rotary shafts 40L and 40R of left and right drive units 14 and 16, which is rotationally driven by the input rotary shaft 40L or 40R, whichever rotates at a higher speed, to output hydraulic pressure, so that a sufficient quantity of lubricants can regularly be supplied to the left and right wheels 12L and 12R even if the left and right wheels 12L and 12R rotate at different rotation speeds during steering. In addition, it is enough to arrange the single oil pump 80 which is commonly used for the left and right driving units 14 and 16, which enables a whole constitution of an electric drive unit 10 to be configured compactly to improve performance in mounting the unit on an electric vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】左右の車輪を回転駆動する駆動ユニットを別々に備えている車両用電気駆動装置にオイルポンプをコンパクトに配設する。【解決手段】左右の駆動ユニット１４、１６の入力回転軸４０Ｌ、４０Ｒにそれぞれ一方向クラッチ８２Ｌ、８２Ｒを介してオイルポンプ８０が連結され、回転速度が速い方の入力回転軸４０Ｌまたは４０Ｒにより回転駆動されて油圧を出力するため、旋回時等に左右の車輪１２Ｌ、１２Ｒに差回転が生じても常に十分な量の潤滑油を供給できるとともに、左右の駆動ユニット１４、１６に対して共通の単一のオイルポンプ８０を設けるだけで良いため、電気駆動ユニット１０全体の体格をコンパクトに構成でき、電気自動車への搭載性が向上する。【選択図】図２
