Zusammenfassung:To reduce communication cost.SOLUTION: A power management system is configured to exchange power with a power system of a power company that is a client of power. The power management system comprises: a plurality of vehicles on each of which a battery is mounted; and a server for managing the exchange of power between the battery of each of the plurality of vehicles and the power system. On condition that an integrated value of imbalance of total power to charge/discharge a plurality of batteries with respect to a request of power demand/supply from the power system exceeds a predetermined value that is a determination reference for the correction of imbalance, the server executes: communications with a plurality of vehicles of targets to correct imbalance (step S333 and step S334); and, in addition, communications with a plurality of vehicles other than the targets to correct the imbalance (step S317).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】通信コストを低減すること。【解決手段】電力管理システムは、電力の取引先の電力会社の電力系統との間で電力を遣り取りするシステムであって、バッテリを搭載する複数の車両と、複数の車両のそれぞれのバッテリと電力系統との間の電力の遣り取りを管理するサーバとを備える。サーバは、電力系統からの電力の需給の要求に対する複数のバッテリの充放電する合計の電力のインバランスの積算値が、インバランスの補正の判断基準となる所定値を上回ったことを条件として、インバランスを補正する目的以外の複数の車両との間の通信(ステップS317)に加えて、インバランスを補正する目的の複数の車両との間の通信を実行する(ステップS333,ステップS334)。【選択図】図4
