METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGHER FATTY ACID SODIUM AND HIGHER FATTY ACID POTASSIUM-CONTAINING SOAP COMPOSITION

To provide a method for producing a liquid or pasty soap composition which maintains a liquid or pasty state even at low temperature over a long period of time without separation, is less in irritation to skin or eye, and has high foaming power and good detergency, with good productivity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a higher fatty acid salt-containing soap composition includes heating a mixed fatty acid containing a specific saturated fatty acid at a predetermined ratio to 80°C or higher and melting it, then adding a coolant composed of glycerol and water to the mixed saturated fatty acid at a time and cooling the mixture to a temperature lower than the heating temperature by at least 20°C, then heating it and keeping it at 40-55°C, adding an aqueous solution of mixed alkali in which potassium hydroxide and/or potassium carbonate, and sodium hydroxide and/or sodium carbonate are mixed in a molar ratio of 90/10 to 30/70 to the heated and kept mixed fatty acid-containing liquid at a time, heating it while stirring and keeping it at 80-95°C, neutralizing it, and preparing a liquid soap composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】低温においても液状又はペースト状の状態を分離することなく長期に維持するとともに、皮膚や目に対して刺激が少なく、高い起泡力と良好な洗浄力を有する、液状又はペースト状石鹸組成物を生産性良く製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】特定の飽和脂肪酸を所定割合で含む混合脂肪酸を用い、８０℃以上に加温して溶融し、次いで、当該混合飽和脂肪酸に、グリセリン及び水からなる冷却液を一度に加えて前記加温温度より少なくとも２０℃以上低い温度に冷却し、その後再び加温して４０～５５℃に保持し、該加温保持された混合脂肪酸含有液に、水酸化カリウム及び／又は炭酸カリウムと、水酸化ナトリウム及び／又は炭酸ナトリウムとのモル比が９０／１０～３０／７０の範囲で混合された混合アルカリの水溶液を一度に加えて、攪拌しながら昇温して８０～９５℃に保持して中和して液状石鹸組成物を調製する、高級脂肪酸塩含有石鹸組成物の製造方法である。【選択図】なし
