DEVELOPING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

To provide a developing device that, when it is separated to the outside of an image forming apparatus, prevents a developer cartridge from being unintentionally separated from a developing device body.SOLUTION: A developing device to which the present invention is applied has: a developing device body; a developer cartridge that is removably attached to the developing device body; a first lever and a second lever that are each provided on the developing device body and include an operation part; and a first part to be engaged that forms first engagement with a first engaging part included in the first lever and a second part to be engaged that forms second engagement with a second engaging part included in the second lever, which are provided on the developer cartridge. The first engaging part urges the first part to be engaged with an urging force of a first urging member.
