Zusammenfassung:To provide a synchronous motor in which energy required for exciting an excitation element is reduced.SOLUTION: A synchronous motor includes a rotor, a stator, a first magnetic field, a second magnetic field, and an excitation element. The first field includes a plurality of permanent magnets wrapped around the axis of rotation. The second field includes a plurality of permanent magnets wrapped around the axis of rotation and the rotor. The excitation element is disposed in a space between the permanent magnets in the second field to generate a varying magnetic field that rotates the rotor. Each of the permanent magnets of the first magnetic field generates a magnetic field having magnetic lines of force in a direction perpendicular to the radial direction viewed from the rotation axis. Each of the permanent magnet of the second field generates a magnetic field having magnetic lines of force in a direction coinciding with the radial direction seen from the rotation axis. The excitation element includes an excitation coil that generates a varying magnetic field, and a soft magnetic material that is adjacent to the excitation coil and is magnetized in the same direction as the magnetic lines of force of the magnetic field applied from the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】励磁素子の励磁に際して必要となるエネルギーを減らしたシンクロナスモーターの提供。【解決手段】シンクロナスモーターは、ローターと、ステーターと、第1の界磁と、第2の界磁と、励磁素子とを備える。第1の界磁は、回転軸の周りを取り巻く複数の永久磁石を有する。第2の界磁は、回転軸およびローターの周りを取り巻く複数の永久磁石を有する。励磁素子は、第2の界磁における永久磁石の間のスペースに配設されて、ローターを回転させる変動磁場を発生させる。第1の界磁の各永久磁石は、回転軸から見た動径方向と直交する方向の磁力線を有する磁場を発生させる。第2の界磁の各永久磁石は、回転軸から見た動径方向と一致する方向の磁力線を有する磁場を発生させる。励磁素子は、変動磁場を発生させる励磁コイルと、励磁コイルと互いに隣り合い、外部からかけられる磁場の磁力線と同じ向きに磁化される軟磁性体とを含む。【選択図】図4
