To provide an air treatment device suppressing the irradiation of ultraviolet light by a user when taking out a functional component outside the casing through an opening.SOLUTION: An air treatment device is equipped with a casing (10) that has an opening (19), a first unit (U3) that is disposed in an air passage (A) and can be taken out from the casing (10) through the opening (19), a predetermined functional component (F) that is disposed in the air passage (A), an irradiating portion (36) that irradiates the functional component (F) with ultraviolet light, and a light shielding member (50) that is configured to allow the air in the air passage (A) to pass through, and shields the ultraviolet light irradiated from the irradiating portion (36).
