WEATHER STRIP AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

To provide a weather strip along a curved part without damaging appearance in particular, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: A weather strip 30 includes: a fitting base part 21 which is formed on a sliding door 1 opening/closing an opening of an automobile, is fitted to a flange F having curved parts 1a, 1b, and is composed of a vehicle inside side wall 21a, a vehicle outside side wall 21b, and a connection wall 21c; and a hollow part 22 integrally extrusion molded with the fitting base part 21. In the curved parts 1a, 1b, a part of the fitting base part 21 is removed to form a notch part K, and the notch part K is metal-molded with a molding material into a die-molding part M. An insert 50 is embedded in the die-molding part M along shapes of the curved parts 1a, 1b.
