Zusammenfassung:	To provide an oil-based pigment dispersion that has excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability without subjecting the surface of zinc oxide particles to surface treatment by chemical adsorption, and can also render cosmetics highly protective against ultraviolet rays.SOLUTION: An oil-based pigment dispersion comprises (A) zinc oxide particles, (B) a homopolymer of hydroxy fatty acid, (C) a C10-14 alkane solvent, and (D) an amphiphilic compound. The (B) homopolymer of hydroxy fatty acid and the (D) amphiphilic compound are not chemically adsorbed to the surface of the (A) zinc oxide particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】酸化亜鉛粒子の表面に化学的な吸着による表面処理を施さなくても、分散性、及び分散安定性に優れ、しかも化粧料に優れた紫外線防御性をもたらすことが可能な油性顔料分散体を提供する。【解決手段】（Ａ）酸化亜鉛粒子と、（Ｂ）ヒドロキシ脂肪酸の単独重合体と、（Ｃ）炭素数が１０～１４であるアルカン系溶媒と、（Ｄ）両親媒性化合物とを含み、前記（Ａ）酸化亜鉛粒子の表面に、前記（Ｂ）ヒドロキシ脂肪酸の単独重合体、及び前記（Ｄ）両親媒性化合物が化学的に吸着していない油性顔料分散体。【選択図】なし
