To provide a machine tool capable of complicated processing with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A machine tool 1 includes: a first main spindle unit 10 and a second main spindle unit 20 that rotate a workpiece W while holding it; and a first tool post 15 and a second tool post 17 that are movable independently from each other. The first main spindle unit 10 moves along an axial direction, and the second main spindle unit 20 moves along the axial direction and a depth direction crossing with the axial direction. The first tool post 15 and the second tool post 17 move along the depth direction and a vertical direction, respectively. The first tool post 15 is provided with a first comb tooth-shaped tool arranged in the vertical direction in a direction crossing with the first main spindle 11. The second tool post 17 is provided with a second comb tooth-shaped tool arranged in the vertical direction opposite the first comb tooth-shaped tool.
