Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for producing a transition metal nanoparticle-containing catalyst which enables separation of a catalyst by simple operation.SOLUTION: A method for producing a transition metal nanoparticle-containing catalyst includes a step of adding a compound represented by the following formula (1) or a polymer of the compound, to a solution of a coordination organic solvent of transition metal nanoparticles or a solution of a coordination organic solvent of a transition metal nanoparticle precursor, heating the compound or the polymer to 50°C or higher, and aging the compound or the polymer. In the formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen atom, or a 1-20C straight-chain, branched-chain or cyclic hydrocarbon group, and R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
