To provide a lid body that enables a container to be re-sealed stably and easily.SOLUTION: A lid body according to one embodiment, which seals an opening of a container that contains an instant food which hot water is poured in to be cooked, comprises a main body part that is attached to an end part of the opening of the container and at least two picking pieces extending outward from the main body part. When the main body part is equally divided into two regions virtually, in a view in a thickness direction of the main body, the at least two picking pieces are arranged at an outer peripheral edge of the one region of the two regions. The main body part and the at least two picking pieces are formed of laminated sheets, where the laminated sheets have base material layers made of papers and thermal adhesive resin layers provided on the base material layers.
