To provide an on-vehicle camera device that has a substrate and an optical system adhered with high strength and with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle camera device of the present invention is the on-vehicle camera device that comprises: a camera module; and a housing having the camera module attached. The camera module has: a lens barrel that includes a plurality of optical lenses; a substrate that has an imaging element anchored; and an adhesive that anchors the lens barrel and substrate. The lens barrel has, when viewing a cross section: a bottom face part that is parallel with the substrate; and a lateral face side that surrounds the imaging element. The lateral face part has a tapering part formed so that a wall of the lens barrel tapers toward an outer side of the lens barrel from the bottom face part.
