Zusammenfassung:To inexpensively and quickly perform quality evaluation for samples of various forms in a quality evaluation device and a method for tea.SOLUTION: A tea quality evaluation device 1 includes: a light source 40 for irradiating a sample of tea with light of an excitation wavelength in an ultraviolet region; a measurement unit 13 for performing measurement to acquire fluorescence data of a sample illuminated by the light source 40; an arithmetic unit 63 for calculating a fluorescent evaluation value according to a fluorescent wavelength from the fluorescence data acquired by the measurement unit 13; and an estimation unit 64 for estimating a content ratio of various components of the sample according to a magnitude of the fluorescent evaluation value calculated by the arithmetic unit 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】茶の品質評価装置および方法において、様々な形態の試料に対して安価で迅速な品質評価を行う。【解決手段】茶の品質評価装置1は、茶の試料に対して紫外域の励起波長の光を照射する光源40と、光源40によって照らされた試料の蛍光データを取得する測定を行う測定部13と、測定部13によって取得した蛍光データから蛍光波長に応じた蛍光評価値を算出する演算部63と、演算部63によって算出した蛍光評価値の大小に応じて試料の各種成分の含有率を推定する推定部64とを備える。【選択図】図1
