Zusammenfassung:	To provide a varnish which suppresses occurrence of whitening due to contraction while having basic physical properties such as adhesion and abrasion resistance, as a varnish for a top coat layer, and a laminate and a heat shrinkable label using the varnish.SOLUTION: There are provided a varnish which contains a binder resin, a wax, and an organic solvent, wherein the binder resin contains at least an acrylic resin and a cellulose-based resin, and the wax is a polyethylene wax and has a melting point of 120°C or lower; and a laminate, a container or a packaging material using the varnish.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】密着性や耐摩擦性等のトップコート層用のニスとしての基本物性を有しつつ、収縮による白化の発生が抑制されたニスを提供することにある。また、該ニスを用いた積層体及び熱収縮ラベルを提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、バインダー樹脂、ワックス、及び有機溶剤を含有し、バインダー樹脂は、アクリル系樹脂及び繊維素系樹脂を少なくとも含有し、ワックスは、ポリエチレンワックスであり、融点が１２０℃以下であることを特徴とするニス、及び該ニスを用いた積層体、容器又は包材である。【選択図】なし
