The MFI type/MEL type zeolite composite is characterized by an aspect ratio of primary particles (average major axis diameter of particles/average minor axis diameter of particles) of 1.5 or more and 10 or less, and a ratio of an intensity I1 of a diffraction peak assigned to crystal lattice (101) plane and/or (011) plane to an intensity I2 of a diffraction peak assigned to crystal lattice (200) plane and/or (020) plane observed by X-ray diffraction (I2/I1) of 1 or more and 3 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】従来のゼオライトよりもコーキングが起きにくい構造のゼオライトを提供する。【解決手段】ZSM-5(MFI)型ゼオライトとZSM-11(MEL)型ゼオライトの複合体であって、該MFI型/MEL型ゼオライト複合体は、一次粒子のアスペクト比(粒子の平均長軸径/粒子の平均短軸径)が1.5以上、10以下であり、X線回折で観測される、結晶格子(101)面及び/又は(011)面に帰属される回折ピークの強度I1と、結晶格子(200)面及び/又は(020)面に帰属される回折ピークの強度I2との比(I2/I1)が1以上、3以下であることを特徴とするMFI型/MEL型ゼオライト複合体。【選択図】なし
