Zusammenfassung:	To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording having high substrate adhesion even in a non-liquid absorbing recording medium.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous ink for inkjet recording containing a pigment and a copolymer (P), wherein the copolymer (P) contains a constituent unit (A) derived from acrylonitrile and a constituent unit (S) derived from styrene and satisfies the following conditions 1 and 2. Condition 1: the copolymer (P) has a glass transition temperature of 50°C or more and 120°C or less. Condition 2: the content of the constituent unit (A) derived from acrylonitrile in the copolymer (P) is 8 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less in the whole constituent unit of the copolymer (P).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】非吸液性の記録媒体においても高い基材密着性を有するインクジェット記録用水系インクを提供する。【解決手段】顔料と共重合体（Ｐ）を含有するインクジェット記録用水系インクであって、該共重合体（Ｐ）が、アクリロニトリル由来の構成単位（Ａ）とスチレン由来の構成単位（Ｓ）を含み、下記条件１及び２を満たす、インクジェット記録用水系インク。条件１：共重合体（Ｐ）のガラス転移温度が５０℃以上１２０℃以下条件２：共重合体（Ｐ）中のアクリロニトリル由来の構成単位（Ａ）の含有量が、該共重合体（Ｐ）の全構成単位中８質量％以上５０質量％以下【選択図】なし
