To allow an apparatus abnormality of a fire detector that has happened before the power source is input again to be recognized, even after a power source of a detector of an abnormality is input again.SOLUTION: An alarm system 1 has a master machine 10b and an alarm signal transmission device 20. The master machine 10b includes: a storage unit for storing state information of the master machine 10b; an initiation unit for initiating the state information so that the state information shows a normal state, when the power source of the master machine 10b is input again; a notification unit for notifying the alarm device 20 that the power source is input again when the power source is input again; and a transmission unit for sending state information to the alarm signal transmission device 20 at a predetermined timing.
