Zusammenfassung:	To provide a method for producing a printed material using aqueous ink, which is less prone to cause blur in a resultant image.SOLUTION: A method for producing a printed material includes the steps of: applying a first liquid comprising fine particles of polyvalent metal compound to a recording medium; further applying a second liquid comprising acid to an area having the first liquid applied thereto; and discharging aqueous ink, by the inkjet technique, to an area having the first and second liquids applied thereto.
