Zusammenfassung: | To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in prevention of image deletion and electrification uniformity.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a conductive support, a photosensitive layer, and a protective layer. The protective layer contains conductive particles. The surface of the conductive particle has a metal oxide containing titanium atoms and niobium atoms. The atomic concentration ratio of the niobium atoms to the titanium atoms in the metal oxide is 0.01 or more and 0.20 or less. The conductive particle is surface-treated with a compound having silicon atoms. The content ratio of the conductive particles in the protective layer is 5 volume% or more and less than 40 volume% based on the total volume of the protective layer. The relative concentration of a plurality of atoms in the surface of the protective layer determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis satisfies a specific condition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
