Zusammenfassung:To provide an electrofusion joint capable of electrically fusing a plastic pipe to be connected not simultaneously at both of right and left sockets but by each of right and left sockets.SOLUTION: In an electrofusion joint, a going path in which spiral advances in a going path direction from an opening portion side of the electrofusion joint to an opening portion side at an opposite side of the opening portion and a return path in a direction reverse to the going path direction, are formed by means of one heating wire in a fusion portion. The going path in the fusion portion includes: a first area at an axial central portion in the fusion portion in which pitches of the spiral shape are formed by the same pitch (F(n)-F(n+1)=13.0 mm (n=0-3)); and a second area excluding the central portion in which the pitches of the spiral shape are formed by the pitches which are twice the same pitch in maximum (F(4)-F(5)=16.5 mm (turn portion T)). In the return path in the fusion portion, both of the first area and the second area have the same pitch (R(n)-R(n+1)=13.0 mm (n=0-6: including turn portion)).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】接続相手のプラスチック管を左右の受口両方に同時にではなく左右の受口の片方ずつ電気融着できる電気融着継手を提供する。【解決手段】電気融着継手は、融着部において、電気融着継手の開口部側から開口部の逆側の開口部側への往路方向へ螺旋が進行する往路と往路方向と逆方向の復路とが1本の電熱線で形成され、融着部における往路は、螺旋状のピッチが同一ピッチで形成される融着部における軸方向中央部の第1エリア(F(n)~F(n+1)=13.0mm(n=0~3))と、螺旋状のピッチが同一ピッチよりも最大で2倍のピッチで形成される中央部以外の第2エリア(F(4)~F(5)=16.5mm(ターン部T))とを含む。融着部における復路は、第1エリアも第2エリアも同じピッチ(R(n)~R(n+1)=13.0mm(n=0~6:ターン部含む)である。【選択図】図7
