CHARGING CRADLE FOR VACUUM CLEANER AND VACUUM CLEANER

To provide a charging cradle for a vacuum cleaner and a vacuum cleaner that allow a vacuum cleaner in a stick state to be placed on the charging cradle easily.SOLUTION: There is provided a charging cradle 30 for a vacuum cleaner capable of charging a rechargeable battery 4 by placing a vacuum cleaner 1 equipped with a cleaner body 2 having a cyclone type dust case 5, an electric blower for generating suction force for collecting dust in the dust case 5, and the rechargeable battery 4 for supplying power for driving the electric blower, an extension pipe 10 connected to the cleaner body 2, and a suction port body 20 connected to the extension pipe 10. The charging cradle includes a holding part 33 for holding the cleaner body 2 in a state that the extension pipe 10 is connected to the cleaner body 2, and a charging terminal part 34 for charging the rechargeable battery 4 when the cleaner body 2 is held by the holding part 33.
