Zusammenfassung:To optimize stress in a radial direction of a stator core that can be caused by difference in a linear expansion coefficient between the stator core and a support member.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a stator having a stator core formed of a first metal material and having a teeth unit and a coil wound around the teeth unit; a support member formed of a second metal material having a linear expansion coefficient higher than that of the first metal material and supporting the stator; a rotor arranged coaxially with the stator and having a gap in a radial direction with respect to the stator; and an annular portion positioned between the stator core and the support member in a radial direction and fixed to the stator core by casting.
